PRINCETON —
Patsy Gail Blankenship, 57, of Hill Street, Princeton, died suddenly Monday, October 29, 2012 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born June 12, 1955, in McDowell County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Lynn McPeak and Gladys Mitchell McPeak.
Educated in McDowell County, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister and homemaker. Patsy was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed working with her flowers and was an avid doll collector.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Paris McPeak.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years, Glen Dale Blankenship; her son, Tim Blankenship and wife Rachel of Princeton; the love of her heart, her grandson, Jack; siblings, Eddie McPeak and wife Kathy of Chicago, Ill., Charles McPeak and wife Lavada of Man, Larry McPeak and wife Janet of Chicago, Ill.; half-brother and sister, Dwayne and Teresa; her extended family, Tana Flynn and Tim Blankenship; and a very dear and special friend, Jenny Crowe.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday. November 2, 2012, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton. Burial will follow in Elgood Cemetery at Elgood.
Friends may call Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
