PRINCETON — Bluefield State’s Tasia Nolan (11) is the WVIAC Women’s Bas-ketball Player of the Week.
Nolan, a 5-10 sophomore, registered a career-highs in points (26) and 14 rebounds (14) to lead the Lady Blues to an 81-79 win over Pitt-Johnstown in BSC’s season opener.
She made 10 of 18 shots from the floor and made 6 of 8 from the charity stripe. Six of her 14 boards were on the offensive side.
Nolan also had three blocks and two assists in 33 minutes of action.
