— Richlands junior standout Brittany Allen scored the 1,000th point of her career during the Lady Blues’ 38-35 Southwest District win at Carroll County on Saturday.
Allen, who scored 16 points against the Cavaliers, has led Richlands to consecutive berths in the Group AA, Division 3 state tournament, reaching the state semifinals last season.
Allen has already committed to play collegiately at Division I Winthrop in 2014.
