BLUEFIELD —
Princeton will host the Alpha Natural Resources Holiday Tournament next Thursday and Friday after the initial date last weekend was snowed out.
According to Princeton boys basketball coach Ernie Gilliard, Mount View has replaced Webster County in the field, and the Golden Knights will play Patrick Henry-Roanoke at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 3, followed by Princeton and James Monroe at 7:30.
The consolation and championship games will be played on Jan. 4.
The Bluefield Invitational tournament that had been scheduled for last weekend at the Brushfork Armory will not be rescheduled, accordiing to Beavers’ head coach Buster Large.
Bluefield has added a pair of regular season games with Scott. The Beavers will visit Scott on Jan. 24, and host the Skyhawks on Feb. 11.
