PRINCETON — Concord running back Brian Kennedy was named West Virginia Conference offensive player of the week Sunday after running for 171 yards Saturday night, including a 2-yard touchdown midway through the fourth quarter that proved to be the winning margin in the 20-17 decision at Lenoir-Rhyne.
The 5-8 junior had two rushing TDs and added 27 receiving yards on three catches.
He has now gone over the 100-yard rushing mark in seven straight contests.
