BLUEFIELD, Va. —
Bluefield College and Cole Chevrolet are partnering to recognize the commitment and sacrifice of the men and women who have served our country in military duty.
In conjunction with the celebration of Veterans Day, the college and the dealership will honor veterans during the school’s final home football game of 2012, Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mitchell Stadium.
As a token of appreciation, all veterans will be admitted to the game for free. Free tickets for veterans will be available at Cole Chevrolet on Route 460 in Bluefield, West Virginia, now through the day of the game. Veterans may also pick up their tickets on game day at the veterans ticket booth just outside the stadium gate.
At halftime of BC’s game against Campbellsville, all veterans in attendance will be introduced and recognized on the field for their service to our country.
In addition, a local color guard will present the American flag during the playing of the national anthem.
