CHARLESTON — The last Associated Press West Virginia prep basketball poll of the year had a familiar name atop the Class AA list: The Bluefield Beavers (19-3) were a unanimous No. 1. The Beavers’ three losses have all been to Class AAA teams. The only school that has beaten them twice, Princeton (17-4), was one point short of reaching the top 10 in Monday’s final poll. Wyoming East rose from seventh to fifth in Class AA.
