LEXINGTON, Ky. — Plagued by a bad shooting night, the West Virginia Blazers lost on the road to the Bluegrass Stallions 122-78 on Saturday in an American Basketball Association contest at the Kentucky Horse Park Indoor Arena.
The top scorers for the Blazers were Papa Gassama, with 15 points, Coryon Ross with 11 and James Montgomery with 10.
The Stallions’ scoring was paced by Luke Fitzgerald with 19, Aubrey White with 16 and Darnell Dialls with 14.
On Sunday, the Blazers will play the eighth-ranked Kentucky Bisons in Owensboro, Ky.
The home schedule for West Virginia starts on Sunday, Jan. 3, at Bluefield State College. It will be “Support Our Troops Night.”
