AFTERNOON UPDATE: Stakes are high in Backyard Brawl

MORGANTOWN — The annually-anticipated showdown between West Virginia University and Pittsburgh has even more drama than usual as the teams prepare for tonight's 102nd Backyard Brawl.

West Virginia will be trying to finish its first undefeated season at home since 1993 against its nearby rival. Pittsburgh, ranked No. 8 nationally, is going for its third straight win over the Mountaineers and a possible date in a Bowl Championship Series game.

The game kicks off shortly after 7 p.m. in Morgantown.
