MCA in sectional final
PRINCETON — LeAndrea Sexton had 13 aces and 16 digs and Mercer Christian beat Montcalm 25-12, 25-11, 25-22 in the West Virginia Class A Region III Section 2 tournament Tuesday at Mercer Christian Academy.
Cacey Shrewsberry had five aces and three kills. Leslee Easter added 14 digs. Shannon Stephens had eight assists and Amber Kopler had five kills.
In other action, Iaeger beat Big Creek in five games before losing to Greater Beckley Christian in three games.
Mercer Christian Academy (18-10) will host Greater Beckley Christian at 6 p.m. Thursday for the sectional title.
