BLUEFIELD, Va. — The Bluefield College Rams men’s basketball team will scrimmage the Oak Hill Academy Gold (top) team on Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dome Gymnasium. PRINCETON — The Princeton Parks and Recreation Department is now having signups for boys basketball, ages 9-12, grades third-sixth. Fee is $30 until Oct. 21; from Oct. 21-31, fee is $35.

BLUEFIELD, Va. — The Bluefield Virginia Youth Basketball League is currently taking registration forms for the 2009-10 season. The fee is $25 per child. If more than one child, it is $15 for the second child, and $10 for any additional entrants. There are six age divisions, including junior pee wee (5-7), senior pee wee (8-9), midget boys (10-12), midget girls (10-12), senior girls (13-17) and senior boys (13-17). Registration deadline is Oct. 30. No late signups will be accepted after the Nov. 7 draft. HILLSVILLE, Va. — The Carroll County High School basketball program will host a 5-on-5 benefit basketball tournament for ages 18-and-older on Nov. 7-8 at the CCHS gymnasium.
