NEW RICHMOND —
In a game that featured a combined 50 points in the fourth quarter, the Wyoming East Warriors defeated the Oak Hill Red Devils 70-64 on Friday night.
Austin Canada paced the Warriors (9-2) with 21 points, followed by 18 from Josh Tunstalle and 16 by Brett Bowling.
Oak Hill (2-8) made 21 field goals in the game, and 10 were three-pointers, spread among six players. Joey Re led the Red Devils with 18 points.
The Warriors led by 33-23 at halftime, but the visitors closed the gap to 44-40 going into the final period. Oak Hill hit a three at the buzzer for the final six-point margin.
Wyoming East plays at Shady Spring on Tuesday.

BALLARD — Ballard Christian School got most of its scoring done early outscoring Calvary Christian 30-8 in the first eight minutes on their home court.
Josh Deskins scored 32 points, sank four three-pointers, cleared 16 rebounds, and distributed seven assists for Ballard Christian (7-5). Chris Prunesti tossed in 20 points.
Three players scored for Calvary, led by 34 points from Trent Spears, who made four of the visitors’ seven treys.
The Eagles play Monday at Appalachian Christian Academy in Rural Retreat. Mercer Christian Academy will travel to Ballard on Thursday.
