INDEPENDENCE, Va. —
Narrows placed four players on the All-Mountain Empire District team announced after the MED tournament was completed on Saturday at Grayson County High School.
Narrows dropped a 25-17, 25-16, 25-13 semifinal decision to Galax, while Grayson County stopped Bland County in the other game.
Grayson County added the MED tourney title to its regular season crown with a four-game win over the Maroon Tide.
Narrows placed Tiffany Perdue on the MED first team, while Claire Reece and Kelsey Mosley were second team honorees. Madison Bragg and Shanda Davis were honorable mention selections.
Alyssa Harris from Bland County was a second team selection, while honorable mention went to Amber Eaton and Julia Davis.
Graham was represented on the second team by Rebecca Day. Casey Spencer and Emmaleigh Gallinger received honorable mention.
Narrows expects to compete in Region C play on Nov. 5, possibly against either Covington or Bath County.
