HILLSVILLE, Va. — Kayla Goins scored 26 points and added 11 rebounds, nine offensive, as Carroll County beat Tazewell 63-48 in the second semifinal of the Southwest District tournament Thursday night at Carroll County High School.
Britney Muncy led Tazewell with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Kelsey Sutherland added 12 points and Katelyn Mitchell had 10.
Tazewell (8-14) will play Abingdon today at 5 p.m. in the tournament consolation game.
Graham (18-6) will play Carroll County (17-4) for the tournament championship.
