LINDSIDE —
Micah Deskins ran for three touchdowns (17, 35, 40 yards) and caught a 15-yard touchdown pass from Reed McNeer to lead the Mavericks past PikeView Friday.
Deskins rushed for 178 yards and McNeer threw for 121 yards in the win.
Brandon Carter added 95 yards for the Mavericks who tallied 378 total yards on the ground.
Jordan Harden tossed a 29-yard touchdown to Logan McKinney and Hunter Moses had a 24-yard touchdown run for the Panthers.
James Monroe (2-2) travels to Richwood next Friday. PikeView makes the trip to Class AAA Shady Spring the same night.
