GREENSBORO, N.C. — Virginia Tech’s Malcolm Delaney received the final Atlantic Coast Conference men’s basketball player of the week honor Monday.
The junior scored 21 points, going 6-for-6 at the free throw line and 6-for-12 from the field, to lead the Hokies past N.C. State in their home finale. In a win at Georgia Tech, he had 32 points and nine assists. Delaney went 4-of-7 from 3-point range and was 14-for-17 from the line while playing all 40 minutes.
