OWENSBORO, Ky. — The West Virginia Blazers saw its season come to end with a 106-93 loss to the Kentucky Bisons in the American Basketball Association playoffs on Thursday night.
Kentucky, the defending ABA champions, used a run in the final two minutes to break open what had been a four-point game.
J.R. Montgomery led the Blazers with 24 points. Corey Love added 23, Aaron Butler scored 20 and Chawn Martin tossed in 16.
