BASEBALL

PRINCETON — The Princeton Rays will host their sixth annual Major League bus trip on Saturday, April 3. The Rays will take interested fans to Durham, N.C., to see the Major League Tampa Bay Rays play their top minor-league affiliate, the Durham Bulls, who are defending champions of AAA baseball, in a 2 p.m. game. The cost is $85 per person and includes all transportation fees and game ticket. The bus departs at 7:30 a.m., and returns after the game. BLAND, Va. — The 2nd Annual Bland County “Just Hoopin’ Around” Basketball Tournament will be held March 5-7 at Bland and Rocky Gap high school gyms. GIRLS IN SPORTS DAY

ATHENS — The annual Girls and Women in Sports Day at Concord University will be held on Saturday. All activities are free. Girls from kindergarten through grade eight will participate in four hands-on sports sessions, get a pizza snack and get in free to the Concord-Bluefield State basketball game. BRISTOL, Va. — Golf’s “Big 3” — Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player — will take part in the “For The Kids” charity golf event on June 8 at Bristol’s Olde Farm Golf Club. The 19-hole scramble match will benefit the Mountain Mission School for Children in Grundy.
