The Bluefield Lady Beavers overcame a first quarter deficit to hold off River View, 39-36, on Wednesday night.
Shelia Hopkins had a game-high 15 points to pace Bluefield who trailed 12-9 after the first.
The Beavers held a slim 20-19 lead at the break.
Khadijah Brown added 10 points for Bluefield who visits Wyoming East tonight.
Tara Bowles led River View with 10 points, 11 boards and 4 steals. Samantha Matney added 9 points while Chelsey Dobbs finished with 8 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks.
The Lady Raiders travel to Hurley tonight.

TAZEWELL, Va. — The G-Girls rallied from a slow start to tie the Lady Bulldogs in the fouth, but Tazewell pulled away in overtime as they hit 8-of-10 free throws.
Whitney Saunders led the Lady Bulldogs with 13 points. Katie Snapp had 11 while Taylor Catron finished with 10.
Liz Workman had 13 points for Graham. Erin Wilson finished with a double-double grabbing 14 rebounds and scoring 10 points.
Graham travels to Galax on Friday while Tazewell hosts Marion.

GALAX, Va. — The Bulldogs led for three quarters, but could not hold on against the Maroon Tide.
Tazewell, who was playing without Noah Walker, led 21-17 after the first and 44-38 at the break before Galax cut it to one point in the third.
Jalen Jordan had 23 points to lead the Bulldogs. John Walker had 19 points and 8 boards. Christian Lewis added 12 points, 9 boards and 3 steals. Ryan Hankins finished with 7 points and 11 rebounds.
Austin Pack scored 29 points to led Galax. Dion George and Devonte McKinney followed him with 16 points each.
