The Flying Eagles of Woodrow Wilson flew into the PikeView High School gym on Monday and left with a 44-32 win over their hosts, the Lady Panthers.
Hope Nester topped PikeView’s scoring chart with 11 points. Lyndsay Hatfield had nine points and nine rebounds and Courtney White added six points and six boards for PikeView (3-5).
Sarah Akers led Woodrow Wilson with 13 points and Summer Butler added 10.
PikeView won the JV game 39-29 behind 16 points from Hailee Fralin.
PikeView (3-5) hosts Bluefield on Friday.

OAK HILL — Jamie Brown scored 33 points and had 10 steals, two assists and five rebounds in a big road win for Mercer Christian Academy (6-4). London Taylor added nine points, three steals and four rebounds.
Sammi Goings had 10 rebounds and a steal for MCA. Brooke Bradford grabbed 12 rebounds, and Hope Lowe, Leah Billings and Shae Mullins had three rebounds apiece.
Kaitlyn Stover had 10 points to pace Mountain View.
The Lady Cavs play Saturday at Day Spring Christian in Blacksburg.

NEW RICHMOND — River View again held its opponent to fewer than 40 points, but could not get the offense going.
Wyoming East held the Lady Raiders to three points in the third period and held on in the final quarter. Bre Pertee was the Warriors’ top scorer with 14 points.
Kiersten Dority led River View with 14 points, nailing three treys. Chelsey Dobbs contributed seven points, 15 rebounds, six blocks and seven assists. Phyllis Waldron had 10 rebounds, while both Akasa Benton and Raven Kennedy secured five rebounds.
River View travels to Tug Valley on Saturday to play in the John Preece Classic.

NARROWS, Va. — Chandler Burton racked up 24 points and 10 rebounds and the Narrows Green Wave grounded the Craig County Rockets 67-35 on Monday, jumping out to a 22-5 lead after the first quarter and cruising to their sixth win.
Burton connected on four of Narrows’ six three-point goals. Gavin Givens added 15 points and eight rebounds for Narrows (6-5), and Rodney Perdue chipped in 11 points. Reserve players were in for much of the second half for the Green Wave.
The top scorer for Craig County was Brandon Fisher with nine points.
Narrows plays tonight at Graham.
