ATHENS — The Concord University baseball team received one vote in the 2013 College Baseball Newspaper preseason poll. The Mountain Lions, which finished the 2012 season 26-27 overall and finished third in the WVIAC-South, returns six starters in the field and eight pitchers for the upcoming seeason which will begin on Feb. 8 at Armstrong Atlantic in Savannah, Ga. Among the returnees for Concord are outfielder Bret Blevins and infielders Ryan Johnston and Josh Wenger, all of whom have been listed as “Players to Watch in 2013” by D2BaseballNews.com.
