BLUEFIELD —
The Appalachian League season is fast approaching, with the first game slated for June 22.
New Bluefield Orioles’ general manager Jim Pettus and his staff are busy preparing for the season, doing some final work on the facilities, while awaiting the arrival of the 2010 edition of the Baby Birds on Saturday morning.
The Orioles open their season on June 22 at Pulaski, with its home opener slated for June 25 against Danville.
