EAST RIVER —
Lauren Woodie scored two goals in the first half as Graham rolled to a 6-0 win over Giles, Thursday at Field 4 of the East River Soccer Complex.
The G-Girls had four other goal scorers with Kristin Brown, Kaylon Stanley, Ariel Sitler and Mandy Redford each finding the net once.
Graham’s defense also excelled, holding the Spartans without a shot during the duration of the match. Kelli Landreth started in goal for the G-Girls and was replaced at halftime by Carly Morgan.
Graham (1-0) hosts Tazewell next Thursday in their Southwest District opener.
