HILLSVILLE, Va. —
Dustin Hagerman won his third straight Carroll County Invitational championship, finishing 3-0 at the event on Saturday.
Hagerman, who was 3-0 in the 113-pound weight class, was selected as the best wrestler of the tournament.
Graham placed third in the 12-team event, scoring 125 points. Western Guilford, N.C. won the meet with 190 points, followed by Martinsville (186), Graham, Roanoke Catholic (114 1/2) and Carroll County (113).
Tazewell placed 11th with 29 points.
Other Graham wrestlers to place in the top four include Austin Miller (132 pounds, 3rd place, 3-1), Hunter Cook (152, 4th, 2-2), Kyshon Lee (170, 3rd, 3-1), Robert Compton (195, 2nd, 2-1), Jon Jennings (220, 4th, 2-2) and Everett Vest (285, 4th, 2-2).
Graham returns to the mats next Saturday in the Chilhowie Warrior Pride Duals in Chilhowie, Va.
