PRINCETON —
\Omar Narvaez had three hits and a trio of Princeton pitchers scattered six hits, leading the Rays to a 5-2 Appalachian League victory over Danville in front of 591 spectators on Tuesday night at Hunnicutt Field.
Princeton (32-29) scored three runs in the second inning to jump ahead 4-0, taking advantage of five Danville errors.
Reid Redman scored two runs for the Rays, which also had six hits, all of which were singles. Narvaez, Ariel Soriano and James Harris, Jr. drove in runs for Princeton.
Jacob Faria (3-4) earned the win in relief of Kevin James. Nick Sawyer picked up his fourth save of the season.
Edison Sanchez drove in both of Danville’s runs with a two-run home run in the fourth. Ronald Luna and Josh Elander had doubles for the 33-24 Braves.
Lucas Sims fell to 2-4 on the season.
Princeton will host Danville tonight at 7:05 p.m.

Pulaski 9, Bluefield 6
BLUEFIELD — Pulaski’s two-three run innings bettered Bluefield’s one three-run frame, as the Mariners defeated the Blue Jays in front of 603 spectators at Bowen Field.
Jabari Henry put Pulaski up to stay with a three-run first inning home run off losing pitcher off Deivy Estrada. The Mariners hit four home runs in the game.
Seth Conner paced Bluefield with three hits, including a triple. D.J. Davis, Toronto’s first round pick in June, added two hits and a drove in a run. Matt Dean scored two runs.
Estrada lasted just 3 2/3 innings and dropped to 2-6 on the season.
Henry paced Pulaski with four RBIs, three hits and two runs scored. Tyler Marlette had two hits, including a home run and two runs batted in. Jordy Lara and Reginald Lawson each had solo home runs. Dario Pizzano had two hits and Lara scored twice.
Lars Huijer, who was Pulaski’s third of four pitchers, improved to 1-2. David Holman picked up his eighth save.
Bluefield will host Pulaski today at 7:05 p.m.
