ATHENS —
U.S. Senator Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., announced that his visit to Concord University today to meet with students, faculty and staff has been postponed due to poor weather conditions. The event will be rescheduled in the future.
Today is Manchin’s last day of his “Standing Up for the Next Generation” tour. The statewide tour highlighted the importance of cutting out-of-control government spending but sustaining investments in the future, keeping our children safe in school, advancing research and technology and improving efforts to hire unemployed veterans.
