BLUEFIELD —
A closed fire station on Cumberland Road is now fully-staffed and open for service, City Manager Jim Ferguson said today to the Bluefield Board of Directors.
The substation had been closed due to staffing issues. Overall, the Bluefield Fire Department now has enough firefighters, Ferguson said later.
“We’re adequately staffed,” he said. “We have 19 firefighters plus the acting chief.”
