BLUEFIELD - The Bluefield High School band will headline the final concert of the Chicory Square Concert series Friday, sponsored by the Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
The BHS Band opened the 22nd season of the concert series at the beginning of the summer on May 28 with a performance including “Abraham’s Pursuit,” numbers from the BHS jazz band, and others.
Door prizes sponsored by the Daily Telegraph will be given away to concert-goers on Friday, including umbrellas, gift baskets, and more.
The final concert of the series will be held at noon Friday and is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, information regarding the concert will be posted on the Telegraph’s website, www.bdtonline.com.
