The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the cause of an accident that killed one motorist and severely injured two others on Route 52 north of Pinnacle Rock State Park around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Deputy W.E. Rose with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department said the 27-year-old driver of a Hyundai Tiburon was pronounced dead on the scene while a 13-year-old juvenile and a 38-year-old female were transported to Bluefield Regional Medical Center with severe injuries.
