Three Mercer County volunteer fire departments are currently at the scene of a fire at 2819 Mercer Springs Road between Interstate 77 and Route 20.Both lanes of traffic on Mercer Springs Road have been blocked due to the fire. The Bluestone Valley Volunteer Fire Department, East River Volunteer Fire Department, and Athens Volunteer Fire Department are all on the scene.
