CAMP CREEK —
A woman was fatally injured in a single-vehicle wreck early Friday morning on I-77 at mile marker 21 near the Camp Creek exit, a trooper with the West Virginia State Police Turnpike Detachment confirmed.
The woman, whose name is being withheld pending notification of her next of kin, was not from the immediate area. The wreck occurred at 12:41 a.m., according to the trooper.
“There were nine total occupants of the vehicle,” Lt. D.A. Gunnoe of the West Virginia State Police Turnpike Division said. “One was ejected from the vehicle and two were partially ejected.”
