PRINCETON —
A venue has changed in the case of a Mercer County man facing a charge of first-degree murder in the death of a Princeton resident.
The case of Gerald Little, 60, of Princeton, who has been charged with the March 2012 murder of 57-year-old Jerry Buckner of Princeton has been transferred to Raleigh County, according to information from the Raleigh County Circuit Clerk’s Office. The clerk’s office received the order today.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Ed Bibb, who serves at the Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, was assigned to the case in January by Senior Status Judge John S. Hrko.
Jerry Buckner was the brother of former magistrate and sheriff Harold Buckner, and he also had relatives in the Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office and the Mercer County Circuit Clerk’s Office.
