ABINGDON, Va. —
The presidential campaign is returning to Southwest Virginia.
GOP challenger Mitt Romney has scheduled a “coal country event” for Friday at 11 a.m. at Carter Machinery in Abingdon. The company is located at 18471 Spring Creek Road in Abingdon.
The first 250 people to attend Friday’s rally will receive a Romney-Ryan hard hat.
Tickets are required to gain entry to the event. They can be picked up at the Abingdon Victory Office at 1060 West Main Street in Abingdon.
