AFTERNOON UPDATE: McDowell County man indicted on federal drug charge
BLUEFIELD — A McDowell County man was indicted Wednesday on a federal-drug related charge.
A grand jury sitting for the Southern District of West Virginia in Beckley charged Anthony Jerrod Dickerson, 22, of Northfork, with possession with intent to distribute a quantity of cocaine base, according to a public information release from U.S. Attorney Charles T. Miller.
According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 2, at or near Keystone, Dickerson knowingly and intentionally possessed with intent to distribute a quantity of cocaine base, also known as “crack,” a scheduled II controlled substance.
