AFTERNOON UPDATE — Area residents celebrate Great American Smokeout
BLUEFIELD — Four years after kicking the habit, Randy Lamb admits he feels “a thousand times” better.
“It was the worst mistake I’ve ever made,” Lamb, director of the Bluefield Dance Theater, said of his decision to start smoking. “I started when I was about 16. I thought I was the coolest kid on earth. It was the in-thing to do back then.”
