BLUEWELL —
A pair of clipper systems hitting the Bluefield area today prompted the National Weather Service office in Blacksburg, Va., to issue a Winter Weather Advisory through tonight.
The Weather service predicted snow accumulating 1-3 inches overnight Saturday with an 80 percent chance of snow today with an additional inch of accumulation.
The Weather Service’s advisory was for Tazewell County, Va., Mercer and Summers counties in West Virginia as well as the communities of Tazewell, Bluefield and Hinton.
