PEMBROKE, Va. —
At least one person is dead following an early morning accident in Giles County.
Dispatchers with the Virginia State Police Wytheville detachment confirmed at least one fatality occurred as the result of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of U.S. Route 460 and state Route 757, also known as Grill Road, outside of Pembroke, Va. at 8:30 a.m.
Officials said no further information about the collision has been released at this time. First Sgt. D.M. Honaker of the Virginia State Police Dublin, Va. detachment is leading the investigation into the accident.
