PRINCETON —
A Mercer County Circuit Court judge declined today to change the bond status on a Bluefield man facing a charge of first-degree murder.
David Reasby, 35, of Bluefield appeared before Judge Derek Swope for a bond hearing. Reasby was arrested in December 2012 and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the Aug. 20, 2012 shooting death of 23-year-old Derek Tabor of Montcalm.
Swope declined to change Reasby’s bond and urged the state to get the case before the grand jury, Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ash said.
Reasby is being held at the Southern Regional Jail in Beaver.
