PRINCETON — A Mercer County judge ruled today that the statement that a suspect in the death of a Bluefield man gave to investigators will be allowed at trial.
Arnold Sampson Dempsey Jr., 36, of Mercer County, was indicted in February on a charge of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Jeremy Little Sr, 28. Judge Derek Swope ruled today during a pre-trial hearing in circuit court that a statement Dempsey gave officers is admissible in court, according to records with the Mercer County Circuit Clerk’s Office.
