AFTERNOON UPDATE — Few slots remaining for Crab Orchard’s ‘Overnight Camp’

TAZEWELL, Va. — Historic Crab Orchard Museum and Pioneer Park still has a few available spaces for its popular “Pioneer Overnight Camp,” according to Charlotte Whitted, executive director of the museum/park complex in Tazewell, Va. The camp is only open to youngsters between the ages of 8-14.

“It’s a great way for kids to sample the pioneer park and see if it’s something they might like to do more of,” Whitted said. The camp opens at 2 p.m., on Friday and ends at 10 a.m., on Saturday morning.
