BLUEFIELD — A little over a month ago, Brandon Holloway was pitching for Bluefield College in the NCCAA World Series. Now he is back in Bluefield to pitch again.
Holloway signed a minor league contract with the Bluefield Orioles on Wednesday and was immediately assigned to their Rookie level affiliate in Bluefield. The return was just what the Midlothian, Va. native wanted.
“To come back to a place I’m comfortable with and pitch in the minors right now feels amazing,” Holloway said. “It’s a dream come true.”
