GRUNDY, Va. — A Buchanan County man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on a charge of producing child pornography.
According to U.S. Attorney Julia C. Dudley, Adam Stewart Young, 34, of Raven, was charged in a one-count indictment with enticing and coercing a minor to engage in a sexually explicit act for the purpose of producing child pornography.
Dudley said in a press release that the charges arose out of an investigation that began in May 2009 by the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office, the Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office, the Virginia State Police and the Bristol Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
