GRUNDY, Va. — The investigation into a fire that destroyed a Buchanan County restaurant continues.
Commonwealth Attorney Tamara Neo said she requested for a state police arson unit to investigate an April 16 blaze that destroyed the KFC restaurant in Grundy. Neo said she requested an investigation because the KFC fire was the third blaze along the U.S. Route 460 corridor within the past eight months.
Neo said the investigation has concluded, but the exact cause of the fire remains undetermined.
