TAZEWELL, Va. —
A woman has been charged with obstruction of justice after a wanted fugitive was captured at her residence, Tazewell County officials said today.
29-year-old Dyllan Otto Naecker was captured Wednesday at his girlfriend's residence near Bluefield. Police have now charged the woman, Samantha Dillow, age unavailable, with obstruction of justice, according to Major Harold Heatley, chief deputy of the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman’s "like" of a Virginia sheriff's Facebook page led authorities to him, Heatley said.
A press conference has been scheduled for today at noon at the sheriff’s office. Heatley said police also have confiscated a seriously neglected horse as part of an unrelated investigation. The sheriff’s office also is expected to announce today at noon that seven deputies have been awarded the Virginia Sheriff’s Association’s Medal of Valor.
