SPANISHBURG —
West Virginia American Water issued a precautionary boil water advisory Friday for approximately 200 customers in the Spanishburg and Gardner areas of Mercer County in the company’s Bluestone water system.
The affected area includes all customers along Route 19 from the Route 10 intersection to the end of the system along Route 19, including all side roads off of this section of Route 19, water company officials said.
The advisory follows a water main break, which West Virginia American Water crews are working to repair as quickly as possible. Affected customers may experience low water pressure or a disruption in water service until repairs are complete.
