BLUEFIELD —
The National Weather Service in Blacksburg, Va., has issued a winter weather advisory for most of the region. The advisory is calling for snow, along with possible periods of sleet, Friday morning into Friday evening.
The advisory is in effect from 8 a.m. Friday to late Friday night.
Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected, along with light sleet accumulations. Forecaster say the snow and sleet will combine to create hazardous road conditions Friday.
