Local fire crews rescued an entrapped woman from a house fire early this morning in Princeton.
Princeton Fire Chief Chad Bailey said officers received a call at 12:30 a.m. regarding a residential fire at 602 Prince Street with a female subject trapped inside the house.
“This is what we are trained to do everyday,” Bailey said. “The crews go on scene and did a quick search of the house. They were able to get the female subject out and had the fire contained within 10 minutes.”
Bailey said the female subject has been treated and released from Princeton Community Hospital. The East River Volunteer Fire Department and Green Valley-Glenwood Fire Departments also responded to the fire scene.
