Two people are in custody after a property owner on Wright Mountain Road near Rock encountered a pair of intruders.
One of the suspects was shot in an upper extremity by the property owner when he felt threatened, said Det. L.B. Murphy of the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect was transported to Princeton Community Hospital. A second man is in custody. The investigation is continuing at this time.
The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department is on the scene of a shooting reported at a Wright Mountain Road residence.
Detective L.B. Murphy said a preliminary investigation indicates a person attempted to break into a home and was shot. The Princeton Rescue Squad transported one person from the scene. The investigation is continuing at this time.
