BLUEFIELD, Va. —
A mobile classroom showcasing clean-coal technologies is coming this week to communities throughout Southwest Virginia.
Bluefield College is the first stop for the America’s Power “Now It’s Time” Mobile Classroom tour by the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCE). The classroom provides an interactive experience detailing the benefits of coal and the successful role clean-coal technology is playing in reducing air emissions, according to an announcement from the ACCE.
The class will be at Bluefield College from 8 a.m. to noon. The mobile classroom will be parked near the Dome Gymnasium.
