PRINCETON —
Two people were injured this morning following a three-vehicle accident in the Ambrose Lane section of Princeton.
The accident was reported at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Ambrose Lane and Route 460.
A Plymouth Voyager traveling west bound on Route 460 ran a red-light and struck a SUV on Ambrose Lane that was attempting to turn on 460 going east bound. The Voyager then struck a Jeep that was stopped on Route 460 eastbound, according to Trooper L.F. Lee of the West Virginia State Police Princeton Detachment.
Lee said a passenger in the Voyager was airlifted to Charleston Area Medical Center as a result of serious injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the Voyager was transported to Princeton Community Hospital.
Lee said the accident remains under investigation and citations are pending.
